Neil King - Vision Australia - National Manager Accessibility Consulting
Neil will be presenting a high level overview of the current government situation focusing on the positive work Vision Australia are seeing. He will be showing different types of government websites (informational, dynamic) and highlight key components that are accessible (lightboxes, maps etc) as best practice examples and how these relate to WCAG 2.0 conformance to assist people with disabilities.
Vivien Berthuol - Adobe Systems - Senior Solutions Consultant
Vivien will be showing how Adobe is addressing the market to be able to provide a seamless, personalised and “accessible” experience regardless of the device chosen by the user. He will demonstrate how Adobe software provides the opportunity to engage with your audience in the manner they choose – the right language, the right format, the right device and the right content – all from a unified platform that allows re-use of content and experience in a cost effective way.
Liz Tran - Reading Room - Art Director
Liz will be demonstrating the principles of “accessible” designs that conform to WCAG 2.0. With her vast experience in web design and evolving requirements to make the web environment more accessible, Liz will share her insight into how websites can conform to WCAG standards and be engaging in design at the same time.
